Every year, U.S. News & World Report evaluates new cars in nearly every segment to determine which cars will give their owners the best value. And in the 2020 Best Cars for the Money awards, Kia took home an impressive four segment awards.
The Forte was named the best compact car, the Soul the top subcompact SUV award, the Sorento the best 3-row SUV, and the Sedona was named the best minivan.
“Winning one Best Car for the Money awards is a great honor,” said Michael Cole, president, Kia Motors America (KMA). “Winning four is fantastic. It’s Kia’s mission to provide consumers with desirable high-quality vehicles at the best value, and so this recognition from U.S. News & World Report is tremendously gratifying.”
To choose the winners, the judges focus on the best combinations of value and quality. Value is determined by transaction prices and expected five-year total ownership costs. For quality, U.S. News & World Report uses its Best Car Rankings.
With each of these Kia models, and other across the lineup, you can expect to get a high-quality, value-oriented ownership experience. For example, the compact Forte delivers a lot of standard features, long warranty coverage, and good fuel economy. You can expect much of the same from the rest of the Kia lineup.
