With the New Year comes a new Kia logo. Kia is bringing a new era of dynamic, stylish, and inventive vehicles by rolling out Plan S in 2021. On top of Kia’s strong investment on electric vehicles, Kia will also be introducing a brand relaunch that includes a new logo.
Kia’s new logo made its first appearance on the electric Imagine concept car in 2019, and it will formally make its debut on a production vehicle next year. This new logo modernizes the traditional wordmark by giving it an italicized treatment. The three letters connect to each other, and the logo no longer has the signature circular surround.
Aside from the brand relaunch and new logo, Kia has some exciting developments to look forward to in the coming years. The brand recently launched an impressive lineup, such as the Telluride crossover, the K5 sedan, the restyled Sorento, and the Seltos. With the announcement of a $25 billion investment on electric vehicles, Kia has promised a lineup of at least 11 EVs by 2025, which will be part of the Electric-Global Modular Platform shared with Hyundai. The brand hopes its EV lineup will generate at least 20 percent of its worldwide sales by 2025.
